X Rocker Gaming Chairs Review

If you’re sold on the comfort and immersive feeling of rocker chairs, there’s one brand on the market you should pay attention to.

And that is of course X Rocker, and their range of high quality rocker chairs.

They’re by far the most popular brand on the market, but are they actually worth it?

In this review, I take an in-depth look at their range of chairs and rate them in terms of quality, comfort, value, and overall gaming experience.

X Rocker was founded in 2005 as a North American brand, but it is taking the world by storm.

People in China, UK, and the UAE are ordering X Rocker’s and they can’t get enough. The company even sponsors professional Esports teams all over the world.

They have an active call button on their website at all times. The product development team of X Rocker are all gamers who have insight into the latest gaming trends.

What their chairs provide is comfort, quality, and a truly immersive gaming experience, at a budget friendly price that can’t be beaten.

X Rocker Pro Series H3 Vibrating Floor Gaming Chair

X Rocker Pro Series H3 Vibrating Floor Gaming Chair

  • Integrated speakers & subwoofer
  • Vibration feature that syncs with game audio
  • Foldable for storage
  • Maximum weight capacity of 275 lbs

The X Rocker H3 model is proof that gaming chairs have evolved. I know that many of you will be excited to feel the vibrations of your audio while playing a game or watching TV.

I was a bit skeptical at first since one should always be cautious with built-in electronics, but it seems that the makers of this chair have done their job right.

What you get are 4 solid speakers and a 4’’ subwoofer that produces full surround sound, as well as a tight bass.

Add a well cushioned seat & backrest to that mix and you’ve got yourself a game changer. The construction of this model was built to last with a durable frame made from metal and wood.

Design

The upholstery is vinyl and you also get an ergonomically designed backrest, headrest, pressure relieving seat, and lumbar support.

The gun shaped arms definitely add to the gaming vibe, but they can’t be adjusted in any way. The X Rocker H3 is compatible with Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and similar consoles.

The chair actually connects to your TV and the package includes everything you need to do so. This also means that anything you hook up to your TV will work with this chair.

Quality

Overall, the quality of this chair is very high for the price. It is comfortable, durable, and shows no signs of wearing out after one year of constant abuse.

The stitching is tight and all the electronics perform well. This model conveniently folds in half, so if you intend to use it for gaming only, it will be easy to store.

On the downside, this chair is very low, so it’s not recommended for people with bad knees.

Also, this chair doesn’t provide proper lumbar support, so if you suffer from lower back pain you might need to get an extra pillow with the chair.

What We Like

  • Sweet audio and bass
  • Compatible with multiple consoles
  • Comfortable and durable

What We Don’t Like

  • Not a good choice for people with bad knees

X Rocker Pro Series 2.1 Gaming Chair with Pedestal Base

X Rocker Pro Series 2.1 Gaming Chair with Pedestal Base

  • Immersive sound/vibration experience
  • Contoured seat
  • Swivel & tilt pedestal base
  • Compatible with major consoles

The X Rocker Pro Series 2.1 model is very similar to the H3 model, except it comes with a pedestal base.

The price between both models is almost the same, which seemed illogical until I learned that this model comes with 2 front facing speakers instead of 4.

The sound is still exceptional, and the vibration you feel while gaming or watching TV is still immersive and does its job right.

The speakers are of high quality, and the louder you play the sound, the stronger the chair vibrates.

There’s also a headphone jack for times when you don’t want the family to hear you take on the zombie apocalypse. Other than that the rest of the chair is very similar to the H3 model.

Design

You get a contoured seat that’s on the firm side, arms designed like guns, and a control port.

Just like the previous model, the X Rocker 2.1 is compatible with PS, Xbox, Nintendo, Smartphones, etc.

It’s important to mention that the arms are there for aesthetics only and can’t bear any real weight.

Also, the upper part of the headrest is slightly curved towards the front, and the seat height doesn’t adjust, so you’ll need to be under 6’ tall to be comfortable in the chair.

Overall, people that got this chair like the quality of the sound but would love to see more seat padding.

What We Like

  • Immersive gaming experience
  • Good quality speakers
  • Decent overall comfort

What We Don’t Like

  • Seat needs more padding

X Rocker Sigma RGB PC Chair

X Rocker Sigma RGB PC Chair

  • Illuminated backrest
  • Gaming & office chair hybrid
  • 5 star base with casters
  • Maximum weight capacity of 275 lbs

The X Rocker Sigma Chair is a hybrid model that combines the exciting features of a gaming chair with the ergonomic features of an office chair.

The result is an ergonomic chair with some extra shine. In this case, the upper part of the backrest is illuminated with LED lights that look remarkable in the dark.

So if you ever wanted to impress people with your gaming setup and take care of your back, this chair can help you do just that.

Design

This chair comes with the standard lumbar and headrest pillows often seen on gaming chairs.

The upper part of the backrest doesn’t feature cut-outs, but it does have wings on the sides that make the chair comfortable to lean into.

The headrest pillow attaches with an elastic strap which can be adjusted a bit.

What I really liked are the arms that are adjustable for height. So if you’re playing on your PC you can lower them to fit under the desk.

This model also features a 5 star base with casters that roll smoothly. Players that tend to move a lot choose the pedestal base, while gamers that are calmer prefer the wheelbase.

What We Like

  • Hybrid features work well combined
  • LED lights are impressive
  • Lumbar support & headrest pillow

What We Don’t Like

  • Not suitable for gamers that move a lot

X Rocker Surge Sound Rocking Gaming Floor Chair

X Rocker Surge Sound Rocking Gaming Floor Chair

  • Built-in surround sound
  • Bluetooth function
  • Bonded leather upholstery
  • Easy assembly

One thing you’ll need to know if you plan on using new generation consoles with this model is that it doesn’t work with an HDMI connection, so you’ll need an HDMI/Audio converter to make it work.

The sound is pretty decent and doesn’t get too loud even when turned toward max. With that being said most people say that the speakers are of better quality than their TV sound.

The surround system does its job well and truly enhances the gaming experience.

Design

The upholstery is made from bonded leather that doesn’t flake and will hold up well. This type of upholstery tends to keep you warm so in the summer, you might need to place a towel over it.

Assembly of the chair is extremely easy and the installation process should be done in minutes.

This chair comes with a bluetooth function that allows you to connect the speakers to your iPhone or Android device. It works well and pairs without issues.

Overall this chair is comfortable with a nice recline that goes as far as you want, it’s also much more affordable than other gaming chairs out there.

What people truly appreciate is the folding feature that allows them to store this gaming chair in the closet if needed.

What We Like

  • Perfect for low seat gamers
  • Immersive gaming experience
  • Bluetooth works well
  • Easy storage

What We Don’t Like

  • Bonded leather upholstery keeps you warm

X Rocker Sound Recliner With Storage Compartment

X Rocker Sound Recliner With Storage Compartment

  • Sound to vibration experience
  • Under seat storage
  • Backrest folds down
  • Maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

A truly confusing thing about this recliner chair is that it doesn’t recline. The backrest isn’t straight either. The backrest is actually 110º so you’ll be sitting in a reclined stance.

This model comes with the standard double speaker in the front and a subwoofer in the back. They create an immersive experience for gamers due to the sound to vibration experience.

Some parents even buy them for kids because the speakers are near their head, which means less noise in the house.

Design

What gamers appreciate most in this chair is the handy storage unit underneath the seat that can store all their games.

The folding backrest that turns this chair into an ottoman was an interesting design solution, but some people expected an actual ottoman with the chair due to the confusing product description.

Overall, this is a comfortable chair designed for people up to 5’11’’. It comes with a decent amount of cushion and faux leather upholstery that’s easy to maintain.

Assembling the chair is also pretty straightforward, and you get an Allan wrench for setup included in the package.

What We Like

  • Comfortable seating experience
  • Good quality sound
  • Handy storage compartment

What We Don’t Like

  • Does not recline

Respawn Omega Gaming Chair

If you’re a Fortnite fan you will definitely appreciate the design of this chair. It has the Fortnite Omega logo embossed on the headrest and orange accents on the entire chair.

The frame of this chair was built to last and will hold users up to 275 lbs. It comes with a built-in lumbar that should give you extra support when gaming for hours.

Design

The backrest reclines to 118º and the entire chair rocks back to the same incline. The head cushion is soft and padded as well as the seat.

The seat is 19.3’’ wide and deep but only 15.36’’ in height, so if you’re taller it might be too small for you. For people of average heights (up to 6’ tall), it should be fine.

What most gamers will appreciate are the flip-up arms that get out of the way if things become too heated. For PC gamers this will mean being able to get closer to your desk.

The quality of this chair is decent but don’t expect it to last more than a few years. Also, the vinyl upholstery looks really amazing but tends to keep you warm.

The Von Racer Chair comes with similar features to the X rocker chairs. It has built-in bluetooth capabilities and speakers that allow you to truly immerse yourself in the game.

The main difference is the position of the speakers, they are on the sides in this model, whereas X rockers have them in the front.

After consulting an audio expert, I have to say those speakers in the front win because side positioned speakers disperse the sound.

Design

What most people will appreciate in this chair is the padded flip-up arms that feel comfortable when you use them, but can be moved out of the way when you don’t need them.

This is also helpful if you wish to sit cross-legged on your chair. The adjustable headrest pillow comes attached with a velcro strap, which is superior to having to tighten regular straps.

The seat is wide and comfy with a 20.8’’ of width and 20.5’’ of depth. The entire chair reclines to 120º and when fully reclined it takes a 34.3’’ footprint.

The frame is sturdy and will hold people up to 270 lbs. If you wish to store it away, you can simply fold it in half.

Top Unikes Floor Gaming Chair

The Top Unikes Floor gaming chair comes with a simple design and a budget friendly price. If you are a minimalist type of person, you might like this model.

It is comfortable to sit in and it is fun to swivel 360º  when you’re so low on the floor. The padding on the chair is alright but the seating area is not cushioned well, requiring the use of a pillow.

The backrest reclines to 7 different elevation positions but it doesn’t rock. You also get arms on the sides that would prevent you from cross-legged sitting.

Overall, this is a well-built chair with quality upholstery and padding comfortable enough for gaming. I definitely recommend it for people that play games on the floor.

The Crew Furniture Classic Video Rocker

The Crew Rocker is definitely the simplest floor gaming chair on our list. The frame was made from wood and padded with high density foam.

The upholstery is made of vinyl that’s easy to maintain but keeps you warm in summer. This model was designed to be used by children or petite adults.

The seating area is 16’’x16’’ and the backrest area is 22’’ long.

The Crew furniture rocker comes with plenty of padding and provides a truly comfortable seating experience. It will hold children and adults up to 190 lbs.

Some people didn’t like how easy this chair rocks because they feel they’ll tip backward, others say it is fun. Which is true, you decide.

If you often find yourself sitting on the floor while playing games, then an X Rocker chair will be a great experience for you.

The speakers do not disappoint, and the vibration feature some models have is truly immersive, providing an out of this world experience.

The X Rocker chairs are immersive gaming chairs that position you in a leaning stance. This is more than acceptable for gamers, but these chairs were not meant for desk work.

They hold up under the test of time pretty well, but each X Rocker model could use a little more padding.
