Design

I’ve had the pleasure of inspecting many gaming chairs, and I’ve noticed that almost every brand’s “racing series” tries to bring the look of a race car seat to your room.

The Gtracing Classic Series is no different. Right of the bat, you’ll spot the racing style color scheme, wings at the sides, and holes above your shoulders.

The only thing that takes away from the design is the 5-star plastic base. Don’t get me wrong, the colored accents give it a cool look, but some people prefer to see metal.

Features

PU Leather Upholstery & Thick Cushion

The Gtracing classic series gaming chair is upholstered in PU leather and features bright colors that would satisfy gamers. However, I’m not sure how well it would blend in an office.

If you’re a rebel and see yourself using this chair at the office, there’s a black on black option too.

The cushion underneath is fairly thick and doesn’t wear down easily. It’s around 4’’ thick and feels firm, yet comfortable. The upholstery lasts for 1.5 years before it starts to break down.

Recline & Rock function

This model reclines to 170º, and you can rock in it. The recline lever is placed on the right and you’ll need to pull it down to recline, in a motion similar to changing gears in a race car.

The height adjustment lever also works as a rocking unlock. If you pull it out it will unlock the rocking motion.

Adjustable Options

The seat on this model is height adjustable from 17’’ to 21’’ off the floor. The arms can be moved up and down, or pivot to the sides.

The chair also comes with two adjustable support pillows- one for your lower back and the other for your head. Both pillows can be removed if needed.

Ergonomics

With regards to ergonomics, there’s really nothing to get excited about on this model. The lumbar pillow is a good idea, but not many people use it.

The backrest reclines which is a nice feature that most gamers like, but overall this chair is on the small side and is not recommended for people over 250 lbs and 6’ tall.

This is especially important to know if you plan on using the 170º recline feature. You really don’t want to risk flying backward.

Gtracing’s Ace Series Chairs was created to offer even more comfort to gamers. This Big & Tall model comes with a durable metal frame that will hold up to 290 lbs.

The padding on this model is the same as their other chairs. It’s thick, cold cured, high-density foam that’s definitely on the firm side but lasts longer than other types of foam.

Adjustability and design

The arms on this model are adjustable in 4 ways. You can lift them up, pull them down, push them forward or backward, widen them, and also pivot them to the sides.

The upholstery is PU leather which looks nice and feels soft under your skin. It does tend to keep warm, so you might need to take a break from time to time.

Just like other Gtracing models, this one reclines to 170º and provides a slight rocking movement.

The description of ‘Big & Tall’ is not how I would have described this chair, because the usable sitting area is only 13.4’’. But if you’re buying it for a teenager, it should be perfect.

What I really liked about this model is the aluminum base that looks so much better than plastic.

GT 901 Pro Series Chair With Footrest

The GT 901 Gaming Chair definitely looks a lot more professional in terms of design and comfort. If you need some extra comfort while you’re gaming, this model is a great choice.

The upholstery on the GT 901 is made from bonded leather that actually smells and feels like the real deal. It’s easy to maintain and should last you at least 2 years without flaking.

What I really appreciate about this model is the retractable footrest that allows you to stretch your legs while you’re sitting, thus promoting blood flow.

Adjustability

Once you recline the backrest to its limit of 170º, you can literally take a nap on this chair. The seat is also adjustable from 18.1’’to 22’’ off the floor.

The arms can be pushed down or pulled up as well, which is helpful if you need to fit the chair under a desk.

You can also adjust the tilt angle of the seat by tightening or releasing the knob under your seat.

Assembly

Assembling this chair might be a bit tricky, considering the arrow on the seat points in the wrong direction.

So if your seat starts tilting towards the front, you’ll need to turn the seat mechanism around.

The only downside to this model is the wobbly arms that tend to get annoying if you don’t tighten them properly.

If you’re not a fan of leather and would prefer to sit in a breathable fabric, the GT 505 Premium Gaming Chair is Gtracing’s best option for you.

You will find some PU leather accents on this one, but all the surfaces you actually touch when you sit down, are fabric.

Adjustability

Aside from the fabric upholstery, this chair comes with similar features to all other Gtracing models. The backrest reclines to 170º and it’s powered by a lever located on the side of the chair.

The seat might be a bit more comfortable than the rest because the winged sides aren’t as pronounced, so you get the use the entire seat width of 19.68’’ and depth of 16’’.

The arms are of the same quality as the other Gtracing models. They can be adjusted for height but have the same issue as the rest – they tend to get wobbly and need to be retightened regularly.

Assembly on this model is easy and should take you less than 30 minutes.

What really drew my attention was the lumbar support pillow that’s just the right size to be effective. It’s also USB powered and can give you a light massage while you game.

This feature is great for anyone but especially for people who have lower back issues. The headrest pillow on the other hand is pretty small, and most people would love a bigger one.

Design

The PU leather upholstery seems to have a pleasing effect on people. They love the feel of the material and the overall aesthetics of the chair.

The numbers show that there’s a huge interest in this model, so let’s take a look at its features and performance.

Design and assembly

In terms of design, the Respawn 110 reminds us of most gaming chairs on the market. You get the racing style seat, winged sides, and cut-outs.

The arms on this one aren’t adjustable, but they feel comfortable nevertheless. The backrest reclines to 155º and you can lock it in any position.

The seat can be adjusted from 17.5’’ to 20.5’’ off the floor and the footrest is something most gaming chairs don’t have. Some people love it, others say it’s not as strong as they’d like.

The padding on the seat also tends to deflate after a few months of use, but you do get a 2 year warranty on ‘all fabric and materials’.

For gamers who live in warmer climates and wish to stay cool while gaming, this is another sweet chair that’s upholstered in fabric with 5 different color options.

The sitting experience on this chair is definitely on the firm side, and the cold cured foam will not allow you to sink into the chair.

This is actually good for ergonomics since you will keep a somewhat proper posture while sitting. It also stays comfortable even after long periods of sitting.

Adjustability

The arms are hard plastic and move in three ways: You can lift them up, push them down, move them back and forth, or pivot them to the sides.

The description on this chair states that it reclines to 180º, but judging by customer experience, I’d say it’s closer to 170º.

That’s still a large recline angle, and it will allow you to relax comfortably after a long game. The backrest is definitely tall, coming at 32.6’’ in length.

If we look at the price of this chair, it’s a little over the budget friendly line (in my view), but it is comfortable and durable. Also, most people that got this chair agree that it’s totally worth the price.

The upholstery on this chair is made from PU leather and the padding is a perfect combination of soft and firm. You don’t sink into it much, but just enough to give you comfort.

You’ll be able to do longer sessions on this chair without feeling tired or hurting your back.

The recline angle of 170º seems to be a must for gaming chairs these days, and this one is no different. The levers perform well, and you can easily distinguish their purpose.

Assembly is easy, but take your time to tighten all the screws on the armrests. This way you’ll align them perfectly and they will not wobble.

The arms are not adjustable in any way, so that would be the only real downside to this model.
