Best Ergonomic Office Mesh Chairs For All Budgets

Most people tend to prefer a mesh chair while working at their office desk.

So after writing some guides about ergonomic chairs & executive chairs, I thought it would be useful to create a mesh chair guide.

Herman Miller Aeron Ergonomic Office Chair

Herman Miller Aeron Ergonomic Office Chair

  • New & Improved Design
  • Ergonomic Seat & Backrest
  • Seat Angle Adjustment
  • Weight Capacity of 350 lbs

Many people will be happy to hear that Herman Miller has improved its US-made Aeron chair.

Don’t get us wrong, the Aeron is extremely well-known and appreciated among the office world, but this one has better technology, updated materials, and more precise manufacturing.

This model’s back and the seat upholstery have 8 lines of suspension that carry different degrees of tension. When you sit on it, it conforms to your body providing both support and comfort.

The ‘PostureFit’ SL backrest was made to follow your spine and provide support starting as low as the buttocks and up to your neck.

The backrest can also be adjusted to support various parts of your back and the chair comes with a tilt option that enables you to choose between 3 postures: full recline, mid-recline, and upright.

You can also choose how much effort you will need to recline by adjusting the tension. Truly ergonomic chairs have a forward tilt, and the Aeron does not lack that.

As an added feature you get 5 degrees of seat angle adjustment. Most people rave about the tilt feature and the arm rests which are soft and fully adjustable.

The Ergohuman swivel chair is the perfect choice for people that spend long hours in front of the PC and suffer from sitting related pains such as sciatica.

What customers are saying

You’ll be able to move the headrest up and down but some people say that it pushes their head slightly forward. You’ll also be able to adjust the lumbar support, armrest height, and seat height.

To ensure the mesh lasts longer, clean it occasionally with a wet cloth. If it requires a much deeper approach, try a steam cleaner. There will be some assembly required but it is simple enough.

The SIDIZ T80 on our list is actually the improved version of this one and the main difference between them is the tilting mechanism and the new design that follows the body closely.

One thing we didn’t like on this model is the casters as the manufacturer himself warns people to use the chair on carpets because it might scratch hardwood floors.

What customers are saying

With regards to being a comfortable chair, a few people agree that it’s on the firm side.

They also say the chair was designed to keep you leaning into the headrest while you work. This may take some time to get used to if you haven’t used a headrest before.

Additionally, the Ergo3D’s seat height, backrest, and armrests are all highly adjustable, making it a truly ergonomic option to consider.

However, the feature that sets this chair apart from the rest is the extra set of rollerblades included in the package.

Since they are larger than standard castors they will add an inch to the height of the chair, and they roll smoothly on wooden floors.

You’ll be able to change the height of the headrest by 2’’ or you can change the angle and lock it in place.

The Modway mesh chair is another great option to consider. The backrest upholstery is made of a thick woven mesh that will keep you both comfortable and cool while you work.

Sihoo Ergonomics Office Chair Computer Chair

The Sihoo is a great choice for people who want an adjustable chair at an affordable price.

The chair quality and adjustability might not be as grand as the Herman Miller model, but it is the next best thing.

The backrest reclines to an angle of 125 degrees and there’s a retractable footrest that can be extended between 9.8’’ and 20’’ in length.

The seat and headrest are both height-adjustable and the lumbar support that can be moved up and down or backward and forward.

XUER Ergonomic Office Chair

The Xuer ergonomic office chair is mostly used by gamers because it is comfortable, springy, and conforms to your body.

The armrests have soft padding that provides adequate support and they can be moved in 3 directions. The seat is 19’’ wide and its surface is curved for added comfort.

The headrest can also be adjusted for height but not for angle. The backrest can be tilted down to 114 degrees and it can be locked in place or left unlocked to follow your movements.

Unfortunately, the lumbar support is not adjustable, however, it does follow the line of the lower back and adjusts with your movements, which is still a great feature.
