They also have a high-end line of chairs called Fantasy Lab with substantially higher grade materials but also higher pricing.

They promise excellence in terms of manufacturing quality, service efficiency, and customer support. So let’s look at the Von Racer bestsellers and find out if they’ve kept their promise.

The Killabee massage gaming chair comes at a budget-friendly price that won’t break the bank.

One would still expect to get value for their buck, so let’s look at the good and the bad. On the positive side, this chair comes with an attractive racing design that will look flattering in any room.

In the package you also get a lumbar pillow that vibrates, offering a light massage experience.

Adjustability

The arms are static and padded, which might be troublesome for some but they can’t be removed during assembly because they connect the seat to the backrest.

The backrest is definitely on the tall side measuring 31.9’’ of length, which would be enough for people up to 6’2’’ tall. You can recline to 175º, but the chair doesn’t rock.

The seat is adjustable from 16.5’’ to 19.3’’ off the floor, and the entire chair is upholstered with PU leather, which is great at this price point.

The only thing to mention here is that PU leather tends to keep you warm compared to mesh chairs. The padding on this chair is decent but tends to get flat after a few months of use.

Downsides

On the negative side, a few people that got this chair find it uncomfortable to sit in and not very durable.

The Killabee reclining gaming chair comes with a lot more cushion than the previous model.

The chair is padded with one layer of high-density foam and another layer of memory foam to keep you comfortable while you’re gaming.

The lumbar cushion also features a 3 speed massage function. For it to work, you’ll need to plug it into an outlet, a USB port, or a wireless charger, but the cord they’ve included is only 4’ long.

Adjustability

Both the lumbar and headrest pillow are adjustable and soft when you lean into them. The backrest is 32.7’’ long and reclines to 155º. You can also lock it in any position between 90 and 155º.

This chair rocks to an angle of 20º, but if you tighten the rocking tension knob it only rocks to an angle of 10º. The seat is 22.4’’ wide and comfortable for long hours.

The upholstery on this chair is made from PU leather, and the arms are hard plastic. They move up & down, plus they can be removed in the assembly process.

This model reclines to an angle of 155º and can be locked in any position. It comes with the standard extra pillows, one for the lumbar region and another for the headrest.

The arms are made from hard plastic and they move in 3 directions, back and forth, up & down, and to the sides.

The Dowinx PC gaming chair is quite the treat for people that love vintage style designs or wish to get away from the standard contrasting colors of gaming chairs.

At first glance, you’ll see that a lot of effort went into creating this chair, especially the diamond stitched embroidery that reminds you of a sports car seat.

The footrest on this model is sturdy and long enough for people up to 6’ tall.

Upgrades

The first thing people customers rave about is the comfortable padding found on the seat and backrest. It’s made from molded foam and will be comfortable for long hours of gaming.

The arms are also padded, but they’re static. Some people prefer it this way because most adjustable arms on budget chairs tend to wobble a bit.

On the downside, the support pillows are a bit stiff but once they get broken in you’ll notice the difference. Assembly of the chair is easy and your total set up time should be around 30 minutes.

Overall, people that got this chair say it provides insane value for money.

The Verdict

I really wanted to like Killabee’s gaming chairs. The name sounds catchy, and their designs are attractive.

Unfortunately, the number of unhappy customers beats the good aspects of their chairs, leading me to believe that Killabee may not do quality checks, specifically on their budget lines.

After examining the pricing on this budget line and comparing it to the quality provided, it’s clear that Killabee is charging more than they should while delivering a less than average product.

I have also found several people that Killabee offered from $50-$80 to remove their negative reviews on Amazon, but those people decided to be honest and spoke about it.

With regards to my Killabee gaming chair review, I am convinced that you would be better off choosing one of the amazing alternative brands I’ve mentioned above.
