I’ve written extensively about leading standing desk brands such as Jarvis, Flexispot, and Varidesk.
So it’s only fair that I review another leading player in the market- Uplift.
Getting the perfect ergonomic workstation for your home or office can be quite challenging.
In this article we take a look at the Uplift range of products which include standing desks, ergonomics chairs, stools, and other accessories.

The Uplift Bamboo standing desk has a very natural look that should fit well both in your home and your office. It has a 1” thick Bamboo desktop that is sturdy and will hold up to 355 lbs of weight.
The desk is 25.5’’ tall at its minimum capacity and can be lifted up to 51.5” with the help of 2 motors. There are also 2 grommets in the back that will help you manage multiple cables.
Even at its highest point, this Bamboo desk is still stable and won’t wobble. Under the desk you get a few mounting points where you can hook different accessories.
Advanced Features
What we really liked is the advanced keypad that Uplift has placed conveniently at the front of the desk.
You’ll be able to program up to 4 preferred heights, so if the desk is used by 2 people they’ll be able to easily switch it to their desired height.
Warranty
The manufacturer offers a solid 7-year-warranty for the Bamboo standing desk which is superior to most other brands on the market.
The only thing we didn’t like was the lack of cross support system that would give the frame additional stability.

Second Best Desk

The Eco Curve standing desk is very similar to the Bamboo desk as it is also powered by dual motors and can also hold up to 355 lbs of weight.
The dual motors provide a smooth and quiet movement while changing the height of your desk and the advanced keypad is a great addition that lets you memorize various heights between 25.5’’ and 51.5’’.
Desktop Design
The main difference in this model is the desktop shape, width, and material.
The desktop is 0.75 inches thick, made with 100% recycled medium-density fibreboard that is powder coated and UV cured to achieve a stronger finish that lasts longer than paint.
It also features a curved cut-out in the front with beveled edges. This gives you easier access to your work environment and makes it easier to type by reducing the pressure on your wrists.
Additional Features & Warranty
Additionally, this model features a smart cable management system, plus the frame under the desktop offers 48 mounting points where you can attach different desk accessories.
Uplift offers a 7-year-warranty on this model as well.

Best Standing Desk Converters
Getting a standing desk can be quite the investment, so if you’re not sure if that type of set up would work for you, you can always give it a try (for a fraction of the cost) with the UPLIFT standing desk converters.

Uplift Desk - Riser Standing Desk Converter
The Riser desk converter is not electric, but you still won’t have to do any heavy lifting. This item works with the help of a pneumatic counterbalance system.
All you have to do is pull a lever and lift it or lower it to your preferred height. The lever is easy to maneuver and doesn’t require any force. You can stop it at any desired point.
Unlike the E7, you only get 28.6 lbs of weight capacity, so this desk converter would be best for a smaller sized work set-up.
Adjustability
The Riser comes with 2 platforms. The 27’’ keyboard tray will fit a normal-sized keyboard and a mouse, but if you don’t need it you can remove it and use the main platform for your laptop.
Uplift gives you the option to choose between a free-standing model that requires no tools and sits on top of your desk, or a clamp mount option which features a keyboard tray that goes below your desk.
Uplift Desk - E3 Compact Stand Up Desk Converter
The E3 desk converter was made for people on the go and is only 1’’ tall when closed. This is perfect for people that wish to set up a standing desk, literally anywhere.
You can set it up on your work desk, your kitchen counter, or even in a coffee shop.
The E3 compact converter features a spacious 26.8’’ single platform that you can carry around. Its weight capacity is only 11 lbs and it would not work with monitor arms.
Convenient Setup & Weight
To raise it you simply lift it up, and to lower it you push down on it. The entire set-up weighs 10.5 lbs and it has the potential to become a perfect companion that you take everywhere you go.

Should You Choose UPLIFT?
There are certain aspects of UPLIFT that make it a superior choice, and other aspects that lower that bar a bit. Let’s explore this further:
Weight
In terms of weight capacity, UPLIFT offers the strongest product allowing users to go up to 355 lbs of weight.
On the other hand it doesn’t have an overload protection system, so if you notice the adjustment speed fall from 1.41’’ to under an inch per second, you have overloaded your desk.
Stability
The frame is solid and won’t wobble at any height. This is amazing since UPLIFT doesn’t have a cross-stability bar.
Desktop
The desktop surface is well-made and flattering. Compared to other brands on the market UPLIFT offers the widest selection of desktop surfaces including Laminate, Eco powder coat, Bamboo, and Rubber Wood.
Warranty
The 7-year-warranty is matched only by Fully; the others give you 5 years for the frame and 2 years for electric components.
Mounting Points
The thing we love the most about UPLIFT is the 48 mounting points that give you plenty of space under your desk. Something we haven’t seen in any other brand.
